Packaged food and drink sales require a retail food permit through the appropriate Florida agency, with inspection of coolers, warmers, and any prepared-food service area. Tobacco and nicotine sales require a separate state retail tobacco permit, and age-verification compliance is inspected.
If the station sells beer or wine, an alcoholic beverage license is required and is subject to location, zoning, and distance restrictions that do not transfer automatically with the property.
Lottery, Money Services, and Ancillary Approvals
Lottery retailer authorization is issued to the operator, not the site, and must be re-applied for after a sale. Money transfer, check cashing, and ATM arrangements each have their own registration or vendor agreements.
